Mosquitoes Blood Sweating to Cool the Body

It was not easy to be a mosquito. Apart from having to move quickly to avoid the blow of the owner of blood, he also had sipped his drink. The problem, which he sucked blood temperatures higher than body temperature. In fact, in order to survive, he needs to keep their bodies cool.

How do mosquitoes keep himself in order not to overheat? Excerpted from Scientific American, mosquitoes utilize evaporation effect. Of research published in the journal Current Biology, written by Chloe Lahondere and Claudio Lazzari, mosquitoes while sipping cool off the blood to avoid overheating. Insects use their environment to regulate body temperature.

Too high a temperature can be bad for their health. For mosquitoes, it became a serious problem because their food is the hot blood of animals or humans belong.

The solution, they use a drop of blood meal to cool the body. Just as the human body cools by sweating, mosquitoes also issued a 'sweat blood' to keep his body temperature.

Scientists use thermal cameras to monitor the feeding activity of mosquitoes. They found the mosquitoes that issue and then let one point suction of blood that he was yawning, has a body a few degrees cooler than the mosquitoes that do not perform the evaporation process. *** [RIF | PIKIRAN RAKYAT 22122011]
