Throughout 2011, researchers from the California Academy of Sciences adds 140 new members in the family tree of the world fauna and flora. The new species they found consisted of 72 arthropods, 31 sea slugs, 13 fish, 11 plants, 9 sponge, coral 3, and 1 species of reptiles.
140 To describe this new species, more than a dozen scientists academy is deployed with the help of dozens of taxonomic experts from various countries.

African pygmy shark saws are obtained from a depth of 488 meters off the coast of Mozambique. This shark has a characteristic form of an elongated nose like a sword, or "rostrum", which is filled with sharp teeth and are used as weapons. These sharks swim with schools of fish crashing with rostrum swinging forward and backward to injure their prey, then turned to "pick up" the victim.
