People with a 'Sweet Tooth' have Sweeter Dispositions

If you are dealing with an irritable colleague or friend surly, probably as a result of this latest research could help. This research may be able to answer the question of whether to consume sweet foods make you behave too sweet.

The study conducted by researchers from North Dakota State University, Fargo, Gettysburg College, and Saint Xavier University shows people who like sweet foods have more sweet disposition. "Taste is something that we experience every day," said Brian Meier, a professor of psychology at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, United States. "Our research examined whether linking the metaphorical sense is preferred by pro-social experience can be used to uncover a person's behavior and personality traits."

The research consisted of five studies. In one study, people who ate chocolate were more helpful than people who eat crackers, or snack. Another study showed that people believe a person who likes candy or chocolate cake is much more pleasant or helpful than the people who like the four other flavors.

"It's amazing that people are helpful and friendly are considered 'sweet' taste it because it seems to have little resemblance to the personality or behavior," said Meier. "The sense that we learned mengendallkan positive feelings so that the effects we found are not influenced by the feeling of happiness or pleasure that might be experienced by a person after eating sweet foods."
Michael D. Robinson, professor of psychology at the University of North Dakota, said their research suggests the existence of a real link between sweetness and pro-social behavior. Researchers also showed that people who like sweet foods have a much more pleasant personality than people who do not like. Most likely they are willing to step in cleaning the city after a major flood disaster. *** [SCIENCEDAILY | KORAN TEMPO 3717]
