Social networking site Facebook will soon have content streaming music service. However, which company would be partners, not many people know.
Feeling curious, a businessman and developer programs from the Netherlands, Yvo Schaap, managed to peek at the code hypertext markup language (HTML) all the music services that exist in cyberspace.
According to Schaap, almost all the streaming music services have meta tags or links that correspond to the format of Facebook. That is, there will be no exclusive cooperation between Facebook and one of music service providers.
More specifically, Schaap said that Spotify, MOG, Rhapsody, SoundCloud, Rdio, Deezer (France), and Vevo give a link to their music that is compatible with Facebook.
But Schaap did not find any meta tags from Pandora and Napster. Pandora has been believed to be one of the music on the Internet service providers that will be invited to work together by Facebook.
Facebook plans to announce more details about its new streaming music service in the F8 conference on Thursday, September 23, 2011. In addition, Facebook will announce its cooperation with Hulu.
