Mount Everest Height Will be Remeasured

Lately there are doubts about how certain high Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world located in Nepal and Tibet, the Chinese government-controlled areas. Officials from the two countries disagree about the height of Everest. To be sure, the government of Nepal plans to re-measure the height of the mountain. Everest is located in the Himalayas. During the height of Everest is believed to be about 8,848 meters. This is based on measurements in 1954. But the Chinese government considers high Everest is only 8,844 meters above sea level.
