Mind Control Helmet

Researchers Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to create electronic devices that are capable of controlling the mind. The device is mounted on the head like a helmet has been tested on mice.
Mind control device consists of two circuit board and an antenna. When tested on mice, researchers can control the behavior of animals from a distance using only light. "Light for activating specific neurons in the neural network," said one researcher from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science MIT, Christian Wentz. Innovation committed Wentz with his research team is part of the field of knowledge optogenetika. This field combines the knowledge of optics and genetics is useful for studying the control of cells using light. To control the mind, researchers examine the specific protein and nerve cells that are sensitive to light stimuli. Protein will open when exposed to light, allowing ions into nerve cells. By attaching a protein at the right point, researchers can turn certain parts of the brain. This technique allows researchers arouse sexual behavior or aggressiveness, which makes animals run in a circle. "This way we can control the movement of a mouse," he explained. Not only control the movement of mice, researchers also record all the activity of nerve cells exposed to light. This tape will be used to uncover the sensitivity of mice.
