Google Maps 5.7 application for the Android platform has just launched and there is one new feature is very useful for anyone who frequently travels to areas that have never visited.
Transit Navigation (still BETA) is an additional feature available in version 5.7 that can provide information about the location of the bus or train station. If you have experienced difficulties during the train ride, often times you feel confused on where and when to go down. This is where the usefulness of the Transit Navigation application.
This feature will display each station that will be passed and the mark if we are already at a particular station. Navigation Transit also remained active in the background so that we can still use the phone for other purposes (check email, browse, and others) and information will be displayed in the status bar when we arrived at a particular station. Unfortunately, because of this feature using GPS, so if you ride subways, most likely this feature can not work optimally.
